Thailand is bordered by Malaysia, the Gulf of Thailand and Cambodia to the south, Laos to the east and north, Myanmar to the north and west, and the Andaman Sea to the west.

As of 2013, there are five countries which use Communism as their form of government. The countries are North Korea, Laos, Cuba, China, and Vietnam. During the times of the Solviet Union, there were many more countries.
Not much data about that time period. I would say war between Vietnam and Thailand after the Khmer Empire fell apart in 1431. War took place form 1431 to 1863, then Cambodia asked for French Protection in 1863. Cambodia got independence in 1953. Then peace for a while, again another war from 1975-1979. The beginning of 1980s considered the starting point of stable-peaceful-era for Cambodia. Such a country to be sympathy for.
