The Bosnians were not to blame for this horrible thing that happened years ago. No one has actually taken the time to see why it really happened. Not trying to offend anyone here but honestly, Serbs took over thinking that they had the right to. Yes i understand Bosnia wanted to be independent and free like most of the countries at the time but unfortunately the Serbs and Croats were all so against that. It really doesn't matter anymore now that all of this is all done but how many lives were lost due to this stupid idea. Their is no one to blame but all those who were against Bosnia being an independent country.

i think that both had a great affect on the development of the alliance system in Europe. firstly the Moroccan crisis. France got what it wanted with the help of Britain. this led to a much stronger alliance. France felt more confident that Britain was giving his side. Secondly, the Bosnian crisis . it was in 1908.italy did not like the idea of Austria Hungary taking over the Balkans so was less keen on the triple alliance.

Why was the Moroccan crisis and the Bosnian crisis important factors?

Both contributed to the war in 1914. The Moroccan Crisis got the Germans even more annoyed. Also, Britain and Russia had decided to form an entente, after the discovery of Germany's plan to attack. For the Bosnian Crisis, the rivalry between Bosnia and Serbia eventually led to the assassination at Sarajevo. In 1908 there was a revolution in Turkey, and Austria-Hungary took advantage of this to annex (take over) the Turkish state of Bosnia.

Why why were the two crises important factors?

The Moroccan Crisis (1905-1906) was the first crises and was one of the long term causes of World War One. The fight over control of Morocco broke down the trust between the major European Powers. The second crisis was the Bosnian Crisis (1908-1909) and was caused by Austria-Hungary's desire to annex Bosnia-Herzegovina. This crisis led to the assassination of Franz Ferdinand which triggered the breakout of the war.
