The Glorious Revolution of 1688 banned religious persecution and established the rule of Parliament.
Unfortunately the current political climate is keeping the United States from displaying that a democracy is worth fighting for and to show how well it works. The movement seems to be towards a government that is something less than a democracy.

None, since by the time he was born "American Democracy" had already been around for between 30 and 40 years (depending on whether you consider it started with the Declaration of Independence or the ratification of the Constitution). His ideas may have had some effect on its later development, but he did not play any role whatsoever in "creating" it. Even that is somewhat questionable, since he was the author of the Communist Manifesto, which is pretty much the antithesis of "American Democracy" as that term is commonly understood.

I think CSR is the responsibility towards the society, your contributions towards the society and also serving the nation.
The rise of napoleon was a step towards democracy because his coming to power spread nationalism all across Europe. Nationalism gave people the idea that they could revolt and create their own democratic governments. The french loved Napoleon because, although they did not have democracy, Napoleon made them feel like they played a part in everything he did. So, although they did not vote him in, they didn't oppose him either.
The enlightenment period of independent thinking and the American Revolution inspired the French Revolution to begin and the editing/creating of the French constitution.
Democracy will soon be a thing of the past. We are going the other direction, to a police state like society.
