Grey Matter refers to the Brain. the reason it may be in danger is that the human race are becoming specialists and require Les thinking power to survive leaving a lot of though and skills to others to do for them. the result is that the brain of modern man is 19% smaller then it was before civilizations developed. Today in the period of the last 49 years we have reached a point where people cant even make change without a calculator or pictures of a product on a screen to point out. we have machines to replace our thinking and other machines to replace our skills. and machines that make the machines using a minimum of human intervention, this will lead to further shrinkage of the gray matter ( Brain).
