They left him to persuade the Trojans to let the Trojan Horse into their walls.

the story of the fall of troy is as follows. after 10 long years of battle, in which many heroes. died, including hector and Achilles, the Greeks used trickery to beat the Trojans. at the advice of Odysseus, the wisest of the Greeks, the army was to build a huge hollow horse, as a peace offering, and leave it for the Trojans. they would also leave behind a soldier to lie to the Trojans and tell them that the Greeks had given up. then the Greeks sailed away, but only a little way of. now inside the horse the best of the Greek soldiers hid, and when taken into the city with the horse they waited until night time, then, with the rest of the army that had sailed back to Troy, they attached the city and set it on fire, killing all of the Trojans they met. thus ended the city of troy.
In Book II of the Aeneid the Trojans notice that the Greek ships have gone from the beach in front of Troy. In fact the Greeks have only moved their navy around the headland to Tenedos - but the Trojans don't know this. (Vergil makes it clear that the Trojans are ready to believe that the Greeks are gone, because that is what they want to believe). The Trojans leave the city and walk around the abandoned Greek camp. They find the Wooden Horse, and they capture Sinon - a Greek warrior who claims to have deserted the Greek army. Sinon confirms that the Greeks have abandoned the siege - but he is a carefully planted spy. (Sinon will later be the one who opens the horse once it is within Troy's walls).

The 10 year looting expedition included two attempts on Troy itself - one in Year 1, the second in Year 10. When the second one failed, the Greeks resorted to a ruse, appearing to abandon the attack and leave, but leaving behind a wooden horse full of soldiers - the Trojans thought it was a god, brought it inside their walls, and the soldiers opened the gates to the returning Greek ships while the Trojans were partying on about their apparent success in seeing off the Greeks..

The person Ash left behind was Misty. Misty was his best friend and he was very sad to leave her behind. Ash had a secret crush on her, as she did him.
Zeus leaves Olympus to help the Trojans primarily due to a promise he made to Thetis, the mother of Achilles, who requested that he favor her son and the Trojans in their conflict against the Greeks. Additionally, Zeus is motivated by a desire to maintain balance among the gods, as he often seeks to manage their conflicting interests and interventions in mortal affairs. By supporting the Trojans, he aims to assert his authority and influence over the unfolding events of the Trojan War.
The Trojans were not warned of the horse. In fact, they were deceived into believing the horse to be a gift from the defeated Greeks. Sinon, the deceiver, pretended to be angry. He claimed his fellow Greeks had deserted him when they left Troy. In fact, the Greeks had merely pretended to leave Troy in an attempt to trick the Trojans into a sense of false security. The plan worked. After the Trojans brought the horse within the walls of the city, the Greeks needed only to wait for the cover of darkness to attack from within the city.
The Greeks left a huge hollowed wooden horse as an offering to the Gods and pretend to leave Troy. The Trojans took the horse in the city but it was full inside with hidden Greeks. The following night, when everyone were asleep, the Greeks got out from the horse and open the gates( we don't have the name of the Greek(s) that actually opened the gate).
