What places in London were worst hit by the bombings in World War 2?

The docklands in the pool of London and the East End of London.German planes approached along a line from the coast running roughly South East to North West.

This approach was called by the English 'bomb alley' which is why when bomber crews lost their nerve they bombed areas short of central London.Much of South eastern areas of London's suburban areas were destroyed.Croydon,and Bromley were badly damaged due to this fear factor. St Paul's cathedral was bombed several times and bombs actually pierced its dome,but it miraculously survived as they did not explode.

Londoners took great heart from this beacon of Christianity.

There was a lot of damage to the port, the city homes, the business district, military locations and outlying areas. The home of King George, Buckinham Palace suffered damaged and the royal family suffered very minor injuries. London was not the only city damaged in the Blitz and many people don't realize that. Cities like Conventry, Liverpool, Manchester and smaller cities were bombed. Conventry was damaged badly.
