Well, South or North Korea? South Korea: According to Wikipedia, the country's two prominent religions, as of 2005, were Christianity at 29.3% of the population, with Buddhism not far behind at 22.8%. However, 46.5% of the population are quoted as having 'no religion'. North Korea: According to the government's statistics of 2000, Cheondoism is the largest religion, with 12.9% of the population. Korean Shamanism takes 12.3% of the share, with Christianity and Buddhism being the religions of just 2.1% and 1.5% of the population, respectively. Again however, Athiesm is the main 'belief' or 'disbelief' at 71.2% of the country's demographic.
In 1950, the population of Korea was approximately 30 million. This figure includes both North and South Korea before the Korean War, which began in June of that year. The population was relatively evenly distributed between the two regions, with about 19 million in South Korea and 11 million in North Korea at that time. The war and subsequent events significantly impacted population dynamics in the following decades.
More than one-third of South Korea's people are under the agr of thirty.
Population cannot be accurately determined in North Korea, however since there are reports of people dying of starvation, i would think that South Korea has a larger population.
North Korea: Land area and Natural Resources is bigger then South Korea. South Korea: Population and Economy is alot bigger then North Korea. Both Korea's even out in the end. If you combine or unite Korean peninsula into one state. It would be alot better and bigger for all Koreans Economically, Politically, Military, and Culturally, Geographicaly.
North Korea has no open religious activity South Korea has a population of an bout 50 million. 58% have no professed religion, 20% of the population is Buddhist (8-10 million), 12% are various Christian denominations, 1% are Confucian. and 1% other. The numbers do not reflect people with multiple religions.
South Korea is about 40% Christian and 22% Buddhist. Other small groups exist, but there are many non-religious citizens. North Korea claims to have freedom of religion, but about 65% of the country is non-religious. Buddhism is common and about 1% of the population is Christian.
