Even though being occupied by Germany shortly before World War 2 (Also known as Munich Dictate which forced Czechoslovaks to not put any fight against Germans and cede Sudetenland even though Germans occupied whole country later), it was considered to be part of allies because official government fled to Great Britain after the country´s annexation by Germany.

Two new axis satelites (Bohemia-Moravia and Slovakia) emerged from occupied countries during WW2, but legitimate government of Czechoslovakia fought from exile and formed sizeable Czechoslovak units on both eastern and western fronts.
