After Henry changed the church he was basically a tyrant. He was able to divorce as he pleased and no one had any say... not even the Pope. However, Henry was a very religious man so he did keep by The Bible he had read so extensively that he had studied it more than the bishops themselves. To answer your question Henry was the same person he had always been, but now he had the power to do as he pleased.
Henry started out as any other king of his day , corrupt and power mad. He was made worse after an accident jousting, when he was crushed between horse and armour!
He was a virtual monster , but he didn't change the Church, he was born into the Catholic Church in England and both he and the Church remained loyal to the faith!
He didn't get better or even improve as far as I can see, the medical knowledge wasn't available!
Henry VIII did a great job of preventing the Protestant Reformation from having any great affect on England - until he needed a divorce. When the Catholic Church refused to grant Henry VIII a divorce, he decided to make his own version of Christianity, where he made the rules. Henry VIII started the Anglican / Church of England, where Henry VIII was the head of the church (much like the Pope). Henry VIII gave himself permission to divorce and ordered all his subjects to become Protestant.
King Henry VIII became the supreme head of the Church of England. He created the English Church or the Church of England Anglicans. And ultimately became the head of the Church kind of like the Pope is the head of Catholic Church. He needed to do this to not have the approval of the Pope and divorce Catherine of Argon and marry Anne Boleyn
catholic
I want to know that! Why are you asking me ?!
Although in pictures Henry VIII was fat he wasnt he was actually quite fit and very athletic and did many sport events
King Henry VIII was at odds with the pope because he wanted to get a divorce. This caused King Henry VIII to form the Church of England. This church was just like the Catholic Church, except the king of England was at its head, not the pope, and King Henry VIII could get divorced. A lot.
Because Henry VIII didnt like thomas more and decided to close thy chuch of the catholics

Henry VIII daughter is Queen Elizabeth. Like his daughter he was determined and intelligent. He had broken away from the Roman Catholic Church and started a new Protestant church, the Church of England. He had married six times.

Henry VIII was a bright spark, and a most clever scholar.
Henry VIII removed the Churches in England from Papal oversight, with the result that every Bishop (save one) resigned. Henry stole all the land that belonged to the Church, giving monasteries and convents to newly created peers, and using the loot stolen from the Church to finance his government. He then formed an entirely new Church on protestant lines, howbeit with a service that kind of looked like the Catholic Mass, although it was in English.
