Joan's job was to command the French army, that is, to lead, direct, and most
importantly, inspire it to fight and defeat the English invaders. She had help from some great French military commanders, like Count Dunois, the Duke D' Alencon, and Captain La Hire, but it was Joan who often insisted that the French attack, when these very commanders wished to do nothing but wait for reinforcements.
One of Joan of Arc's greatest quotes was, "Have good spurs! All of You!" Her
commanders asked her, do you mean for us to retreat? And Joan yelled, "No!
Chase them! For that you'll need good spurs!" This resulted in the famous Battle of Patay, in which the English were soundly defeated in an open field battle as they were retreating toward Paris, with over 2000 men killed and one of their commanders, Lord William Talbot, captured. This was on June 18th, 1429. The commander, Lord John Fastolf, was cited for cowardice in retreating
before the enemy in this battle and lost his order of the garter.

Faith, purity, loyalty were here greatest traits.
After Joan of Arc's execution in 1431, France experienced a surge of nationalistic fervor and outrage. Many viewed her as a martyr, and her death galvanized support for the French cause in the Hundred Years' War. In 1456, a posthumous trial declared her innocent, further solidifying her status as a national hero. Ultimately, Joan's legacy inspired the French to rally and ultimately achieve victory against the English.
Rheims (l429) and Orleans ( same year) are her best known campaigns. there was a poem about Joan of Arc which unfortunately had a rhythmic quality that suggested the upbeat song- Happy Days are Here again- and there were various towns mentioned in the song- not necessarily battle sites. Tours, Arles and Domremy ( her home town) reply- and Joan of Arc goes riding by- it sounds TOO much like ( Happy Days are Here Again!)
Joan of Arc was known for her strong, determined, and charismatic personality. She displayed unwavering confidence in her divine mission, which inspired those around her, including soldiers and leaders. Her deep sense of faith and conviction drove her actions, and she was often described as courageous and resolute in the face of adversity. Despite her fierce demeanor, she also exhibited compassion and humility, which endeared her to many.

In Orleans, France, there is a month long celebration including a huge parade. Joan liberated Orleans may 8th, 1429. So the parade and celebration is around that date. Other cities in France have parades and less elaborate ways to celebrate Joan of Arc. Almost all towns, small and large have statues of Joan of Arc. The previous answer that French people go to church is wrong.
Initially, before she became a military leader, she was working on her father's farm. Later she became a leader and strategist in the French army.
