youngest person to win the Nobel prize, hailed as one of the greatest speakers in history and the icon of civil rights. His legacy is possibly just the fact that we all are able to openly and freely discuss race issues today. There are some who will say that he did the most for the movement, personally I don't think so. There were others that did more...but Martin was the VOICE of all those that fought for equal rights, and he was the one that had the star power (so to speak) that could make things happen.
