Living in a trench was very wet, so wet that your feet would start to rot. They would start to rot because you would be in the front line of the trench for 1-2 weeks at a time before going to the tent area or the back area of the trench. What makes life harder in the front line of the trench is the fact that you never know when or where a bomb is going to come from. If you tried to escape and run into no mans land, then you would be killed because men with machine guns would win against a man with only a knife.
They got sent to concentration camps, work camps, or death factories.
The life of a soldier during World War 2 was very hard. They were given inadequate living quarters. Many became sick due to the harsh winters and sweltering summer conditions. Malaria and other illnesses were contracted due to insect bites and poor nutrition.
Also, life for those living in poverty was very hard, but life for the wealthy was very nice and at-ease.
Yes, they have been a big part of my life and also made a living working on them.
Life in the trenches during wartime is marked by extreme hardship due to constant exposure to harsh weather conditions, mud, and lack of proper sanitation. Soldiers face relentless threats from enemy fire, as well as the psychological toll of living in close quarters with danger and uncertainty. Additionally, basic necessities like food, clean water, and medical care are often scarce, exacerbating the already dire living conditions. This combination of physical and mental challenges creates a bleak and grueling experience for those stationed in the trenches.
Slave living quarters on plantations typically consisted of rudimentary structures such as cabins or barracks made from materials like wood, mud, or clay. These quarters were often overcrowded, lacking proper ventilation and sanitation. Conditions were generally harsh and unsanitary, with minimal privacy and comfort provided for the enslaved individuals living there.

It sucked
If you ask me. Yes! I'm living my life to it's fullest yes, indeed.
Horrible.
Quarters are 0.25 of a dollar.
Most slave ships were packed so tight that the slaves barely had any room to breathe! Others, were loosely packed and the slaves got their own room. Either way, both living quarters would smell really bad, since the slaves had no personal hygiene whatsoever. Also, slaves quarters did NOT have any bathrooms so they had to go in their room. (Which is disgusting)
life was a living hell. it was extremely brutal.
Everyday life for people in this colony is just living thug life or buying gucci stuff.
