rationing is where we had a limited supply of necessities like food and clothes. They were rationed because of the blitz and cause they couldn't get planes or boats to other countries to bring different materials and foods so we had to be rationed there is a good game
because they couldn't ship it in from other countries
== == The foods and clothes were very scarce during the Blitz and had to be put on rationing to share them out equally between families. Actually clothes rationing started in June of 1941 and it was done in order to free up factory space and about 450, 000 workers to make ammunition.
To the best of my knowledge there was no food rationing during the 1930's depression, at least not in the United States. The only food rationing was during World War 2 in the 1940's.

Clothes rationing in the UK officially ended on March 15, 1949, while food rationing continued until July 4, 1954. The end of these rationing measures marked a significant shift toward post-war recovery and the normalization of everyday life. The gradual lifting of restrictions allowed citizens to regain access to a variety of goods that had been limited during and after World War II.
