The "Madagaskar-Plan" was conceived to transport the unwanted individuals (Jews, Sinti, Roma, ...) to Madagaskar and thus have them removed from German society and German land.

This plan was soon to be abandoned because it was simply impossible and the Third Reich decided it would be more "cost effective" to kill all those who they deemed unworty of living.
