Jack Ruby, a Dallas nightclub owner who said he felt sorry for John F. Kennedy's widow, Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy.
OpinionsSeparation of church and state. If you say yes, what prayers should be said? Hindu, Christian, Islam, Buddhist, Satanists, etc?Yes, because prayer is good for creation of a good, peaceful, tolerant, co-operating people in society. Children should grow up learning ethics .Prayer is talking to God. Each school should make its own prayer to be said in the assembly or in the class, addressing God as God, then it would be acceptable to people of all religions. Prayer should be said before every hour or period in the school. Also prayer shouldn't be mechanical. Ask children to pray with their whole heart.Public schools should allow porn. Everyone carries around loose change that says on it, 'In God we trust', but they cant pray. It makes no sense.No. If prayer is allowed, then all prayers of all religion should be said. There are thousands of different religions, gods & goddesses. If they do this, there won't be any more time for students to do what is there for them to do, study. Its not like they are going to pray all day 24/7. Just for their food and whatever they feel they need to pray for. I think they should be able to pray. Prayer is a good thing. No, because its church and state. For those who say yes, what if the people who don't believe in God are faced with school prayer?? Isn't that a little unfair??Also, people can pray in School, it just cant be mandated publicly.Students are allowed to pray in school. What the Supreme Court has held unconstitutional is school-sponsored prayer or religious activity in the public schools. Public schools are supported by taxes, which makes them agents of the government. The Constitution forbids the government from establishing religion as a protection against the creation of an official state religion like the England had at the time of the US Revolutionary War. It's important to respect people of all faiths or of no faith; their beliefs are as worthy of protection as anyone's. The Supreme Court found that school-led prayer and bible study violated students' freedom of religion because it forced some people to participate in activities against their own faith. You can pray in school. That right is protected under the First Amendment Free Exercise Clause. Just don't force other people to adopt your beliefs and practices.
at the end Gandhi was shot while he was going to prayer by an Hindu man. when he was going that man came and touched his feet, and the women standing beside Gandhi said he was getting late for prayer and then that man shoved her aside and shot Gandhi in his head more then once. that man was to be hanged for killing Gandhi. nobody knows why he shot Gandhi, but all i know was that Gandhi was assassinated.
Prayer is not bad. In fact it is very good. When everything seems bad in your life, you have hope through your faith in your God. So in turn we can pray to him for help and he will help us if we believe in Him. It is written in scriptures that, " it is better to trust God than to put confidence in man". That means as we pray to God, we can trust Him in all things. Because man will always stear you in the wrong path, but God will never do that. It is said that he is closer than a brother.A: 2Prayer is not bad, rather it is simply a wonderful way to talk to God. Prayer is expressing your honest thoughts, concerns, thankfulness to Him. History is full of famous people who have prayed to thank God, ask Him questions, etc. God says, "call on me and I will answer you".A: 3A prayer is truly an affirmation which is proclaimed with faith and it is therefore not bad. The bad part is whenever people confuse a prayer with a petition, a blessing and a thanksgiving. There are many people who make heart wrenching petitions, pleas and appeals crying/wailing/moaning with the fettered hope that a Divine Force will eventually come to their aid. The fundamental difference between a prayer and a petition is that a prayer is a loving interaction between two beloveds and a petition is a supplication before an administrative authority. A prayer is good when it actually produces timely, desirable and righteous results. If a prayer does not produce timely results then it is being done wrong and as a result it is an absolute waste of time.

Please God, try to forgive these crackers.Because even if they say those bad things,They don't know what they're doing. So You could forgive them,Just like You did those folks a long time agoWhen they said terrible things about You.
One important statement by Ruby Bridges is: "Don't follow the path. Go where there is no path and begin the trail." It conveys her courage and determination in paving the way for desegregation in education.
Ruby bridges change her community because she keep on going to school even all those words they said to poor rubythen after then kids and parents got tired of yelling at ruby and started taking their kids to school.

I Said a Prayer was created in 1998.
Well, honey, Ruby Bridges once said, "Don't follow the path. Go where there is no path and begin the trail." It's a sassy way of saying blaze your own damn trail and don't be afraid to stand out in a crowd. So, there you have it, a dose of wisdom from the one and only Ruby Bridges.
Two is to be company while three is to be crowd :)
