Those past wars were fought with women in the WAC's, WAVEs, WAFs, and WMs (Womens Army Corps, Women Allowed in the Navy for Voluntary Emergency Service, Women in the Air Force, and Women Marines). In 1975, to make room for the ALL VOLUNTEER military, those women "corps" were DISBANDED.
