The weather in the Rhode Island Colony was pretty mush the same as weather in the State of Rhode Island today. Warm but not opressive summers, often with sea breezes, sufficient rain, sometimes thunder, sometimes fog. Snow storms and occasional blizzards in winter, cold but also some warm days.

Oh, dude, that's an easy one. Rhode Island was the chill colony that let people of all faiths worship freely. They were like the cool kids of the colonial era, just letting everyone do their thing without any drama. It was basically the original "live and let live" vibe.
Rhode Island is classified as a New England colony, not a southern or middle colony. It was one of the original thirteen colonies established in the early 17th century, primarily known for its religious tolerance and diverse settlement patterns. The New England colonies, which include Rhode Island, are distinct from the southern colonies (like Virginia and Maryland) and the middle colonies (like New York and Pennsylvania) in terms of geography, economy, and culture.

Roger Williams was the founder of Rhode Island along with Anne Hutchinson, but Williams is considered the founder. Williams founded Rhode Island to escape religious prosecution, and make a colony just for Puritans like him.
