John Calvin created the systematic theology for Reformed Protestantism. He also greatly influenced Protestant Education. The Roman Catholic Council of Trent used his books to reform the Roman Catholic Church. While they did not make the Roman Catholic Church a Protestant Institution, they made a number of reforms that he suggested.
