the aims of freedom riders was to desegregate the U.S transports system by protesting in a non-violent manner to get the supreme court of justice to make a constitution that allows black and white people to sit next to each other on transports system. The people who were protesting was not just black people but also white americans who believed that black people should be treated fairly. in doing the protesting the only transport available to the black people were greyhounds and in protesting when they reached a new state they used to be attacked by mobs of racist people who used to break windows and hit and even through a burning bottle in the bus whilst they barricade the doors to dis-allow them from escaping and therefore burning alive
