The conditions was very humid and hot when they landed at Anzac Cove. There where steep, jagged cliffs and long bumpy mountains.
Although popular belief is that Gallipoli is better than Kokoda, many like me and lachy and Amelia disagree. Gallipoli was half way across the globe and kokoda was much closer to home and Australia and an imminent invasion threat. Gallipoli was also a stupid failure while kokoda was a legend. on the 6/6/1944 the greatest beach landing in the history of warfare occured on a few beaches like ''gold'' and ''sword''. but the biggest kill zone was in ohama beach. 3 hours of blood lust, more than 5,000 deaths for 200m of ground.

The conditions at Gallipoli were really bad in the hot weather their were lot's of fly's and when it's winter it's freazing cold. Well the conditions were really bad not as like now.

The Conditions in Gallipoli were very rough and unfair. The Turks outnumbered the ANZACs and were on higher ground. They surrounded the ANZAC soldiers making there no where to hide. Even if you were behind a bush or rock you would still get shot dead. Many of the ANZAC soldiers were also inexperienced.
