We might use the dates 1300 to 1600, but there are many suggestions on how to date the time. I have seen beginning dates ranging from 1295 to 1400, and the dates for the end of the Renaissance seem even more difficult to pin down. It is probably good to note that the Middle Ages and the Renaissance overlap.
