What were the long term affects of the Seven Years War?

Great Britain and Spain & France despised each other even more than they already did. Colonies and territories in North America were disputed, reapportioned and inhabitants removed. All leading to France siding with the Americans in the Revolutionary War. Lafayette joining with Washington and eventually beating up on Cornwallis in S.C. to give America the victory.

America (or the USA) was not formed at the time of the Seven Years War which ended in 1763. In the New World this war was known as the French and Indian War. It did have a very important indirect impact due to several sequence of events. They are: The French lost all of the northern colonies to Britain which later became Canada. They ceded to Spain all of their colonies west of the Mississippi River to keep the British from taking them. Spain ceded this territory back to France in 1800 and was purchased by the United States in 1803 as the Louisiana Purchase.
