There were many, I'm going to give a few examples though. We first have the Gaul 's who were forced out of their lands by invading tribes they simply just wanted land to live in for their children. Then we have the "revenge" aspect of it. At the time Rome wasn't the most popular nation, it attacked many tribes and killed thousands of their own people, so there was that aspect. Then the economical side Rome was the richest country in the world, many others were dying of famine or civil war, Rome seemed to be a Utopia to them.
