He was born into a wealthy family and seeing that a patrician (contrary to popular belief) is a social class not a job or office in government, he was born as one.

Julius Caesar implemented several reforms aimed at increasing the population of poor and working Romans, notably through land redistribution and the establishment of colonies. He redistributed land to veterans and the urban poor, which helped alleviate poverty and encouraged settlement in newly established colonies. Additionally, Caesar's policies included the cancellation of debts and the easing of tax burdens, which further supported the lower classes and stimulated population growth in urban areas. These measures aimed to strengthen his political base and alleviate social tensions in Rome.

About the only thing Julius Caesar would have one for the jobless was to recruit them into his army. The ancient Romans did not have our modern social services.

During the pre-Spanish era in the Philippines, the social classes were the Maharlika (nobility and warrior class), the Timawa (freemen and skilled laborers), and the Alipin (commoners and slaves/serfs).
I (dolphinlover) and (Nanice) JUST learned this for an hour in class today! OK here is how he died:The senate was scared that Julius was going to become king and change Rome's government to a monarchy. They had seen Julius wearing a purple robe, which is the color of a king's. The senate DID NOT want him to become king. If that happened Caesar's relatives would have ruled Rome and taken power away from the senate. Julius even said publicly he DID NOT want to be the king. So the senate took action. Brutus, Caesar's friend was persuaded to help kill him. Julius was stabbed many times by over 60 senate members. Julius, as he was dying, is believed to have said "Et tu Brute?", which means "You too Brutus?". Julius could not believe that his friend had helped kill him. Caesar died on the Ides of March, March 15, 44 BC. Simplified: Julius Caesar was murdered in a meeting of the senate, by the senators.
