France and Britain declared war on Germany.
The partitioning of the Upper Middle East between Britain and France under Sykes-Picot Agreement took place in 1917, but the realization of this partitioning in the creation of the Mandates of Palestine, Iraq, and Syria did not happen until 1919. Many other areas of the Middle East came under Imperial Protection even earlier, in the 19th century. Egypt fell under British control in 1882 and the Trucial States (now the United Arab Emirates) fell under British control even earlier, in 1820.
Hitler wanted WWII to happen. Germanys ecodomy was horible and he was angry at the people that made it that way. When Germany invaded Poland that's what really started it. After that Britain and France and other countries declared war. Which is exactly what Hitler wanted.
Hitler wanted to knock Britain out of the war as soon as possible so he could commit his forces to the East. Hitler really didn't care much for France or Britain, his focus was on conquering land in the East for his "Lebensraum".
they wasnt sure what would happen if they would have gone
France and Britain had been in a war before so they know what could happen if another war broke out! Also they were the bigger more dominent countries so they had more power over the other countries!!

Yes, earthquakes do occur in Middle Eastern countries due to the complex tectonic plate interactions in the region. Countries like Iran, Turkey, and Iraq are particularly prone to seismic activity. Precautionary measures and building codes are being implemented to minimize the impact of earthquakes in these regions.

Yes they do. They are not as frequent, nor as powerful as other countries, but they still do happen. A large (for the UK) earthquake happened in February 2008. See related link for more information.
