Ford sold his first car the Quadricycle for $200 in 1896. He later built two more, one in 1899 and another in 1901. He eventually bought his first one back for $60.

Answer The first Model T. Ford was made on an assembly line in 1903 and the first one was sold to Dr. Pfenning for $850 on July 11, 1903. Henry Ford did not invent the automobile. In fact, there were two other automobile companies in the U.S. that did produce cars and had assembly lines. Each car produced was done so in 98 minutes! He also believed in good wages for his workers which was $5 per day in 1914. He shunned greed and was not audited in all the years he worked on his cars until he formed he took over the Ford company. Henry Ford modernized the assembly lines and massed produced automobiles. He beefed up the motor in the Model T and revolutionized an affordable means of transportation in the American Industry. He was awarded 161 U.S. patents. Sole owner of the Ford Company (bought out the other stockholders shares.) Ford left most of his wealth to the Ford Foundation and arranged to have his family control it permanently.
