He led the third army in world war 2, was a captains aid during the expedition to Mexico, and led a Calvary unit in WWI. Patton was also commissioned as a 2nd LT.in the army in 1909 at a very young age. Patton fought through three wars and ironically died in a horse and buggy accident in Berlin. The German Army wanted Pattin dead so badly and a horse kills him after the war. Patton was very important in WWII and played a huge roll in key operations. Patton is known as a war master mind and will be remembered. Another quick fact about him is he was one of the first Generals to very very very belligerent to his soldiers. Also, he went to the Olympics for shooting but didn't win much because when most chose a 28. revolver,Patton felt the event's military roots garnered a more appropriate weapon, the .38
