In term of economy and culture, there were two heights during the Tang Dynasty. One was called Zhen-guan Zhi Zhi (贞观之治, 635 - 700 CE), the other called Kai-yuan Zhi Zhi (开元之治, 713 - 741 CE). 'Zhen-guan' and 'Kai-yuan' were titles for the years in the reign of the particular emperors. Here 'Zhi Zhi' means a peaceful and prosperous reign.
