Yes, a small settlement of what has been nicknamed the "Sasquatch people" was found in early September of 2001. The find also yielded various small cutting stones and what is believed to be a very early religious alter. The nickname "Sasquatch people" came about when anthropologist confirmed, later that year, that the remains included three skeletons that varied in height ranging from eight to ten feet high.
