Rome, of course. The House of Romulus, or more properly the Hut of Romulus was located on the Palatine hill and was considered a sacred place by the Romans. It was just a simple peasant's hut with a single room and thatched roof. Over the years it had caught fire from the sacrifices offered there several times and was always rebuilt exactly as tradition dictated.
