The family surname of McCluskey (and several derivitives) are Irish in origin.

Originally from the province of Ulster, primarily in the County of Derry. It is a sept family of the O'Kanes, who were septs of the O'Neills.

McCluskeys are found all over the world in every English speaking country today and in some non-English ones also.

Gaelic (Irish) spelling: Mac Cloiscaigh (originally spelt Mac Bloscaidh)
