Hitler and his mistress, Eva Braun, were believed to be buried in Magdeburg, Germany.

Soviet troops took the bodies with them when they left Berlin, and at night, they would bury them, only unearthing them when it was time to move on. Finally, they were buried behind an abandoned German base camp.

25 years later, a waste-disposal company bought the land, and they found the remains.

The German public deemed that they should be destroyed, and that's what they did. They burned Hitler and Braun's remains.

There is no permanent grave or shrine to Hitler, for fears of Nazi gatherings.
