The Big Oyster is not actually a statue. Situated just north of Taree on the Pacific Highway (eastern coast, between Brisbane and Sydney), it used to be a restaurant and souvenir shop, but is now a used car yard.

Is Statue of Liberty bigger that big ben?

The Great Bell in the clock tower of the palace of Westminster, commonly known as Big Ben, is just over 7ft tall. The Statue of Liberty is 305ft tall, including the pedestal. So Big Ben is much, much smaller. The clock tower of the palace of Westminster, on the other hand, is 315.9ft high, so it is taller than the Statue of Liberty.

French ship that carried the Statue of Liberty?

The Isere transported 214 crates of parts of the Statue of Liberty. Owing to limited cargo capacity and lack of available big cranes, a small flotilla was needed to transport the statue's superstructure to the US. There were several ships involved. The pedestal of the statue was, however, made in the USA, and this was financed largely by newspaper subscriptions and pennies from school childen, as the Federal Government would not sponsor such a frivolous project. The Statue is on the Jersey Side of the Harbor in New York!
