Is this an odd-ball automatic pistol that is fired by squeezing the grip and has no trigger? Pistols of the World says it was made in France by an unknown manufacturer.

No offense, but I dont think you are looking at a REVOLVER. A revolver has a round cylinder with individual chambers that turns when you cock it. I believe you are looking at a PISTOL, or semiauto, that has a slide which moves front to rear when you cock it. It would also have a detachable box magazine that slides out the bottom. sales@countrygunsmith.net The term "pistol" can mean either a revolver or semi-automatic. In this case the odds are it is referring to a semi-auto.
