The following is from the National Intelligencer, of Washington, D.C: The magnificent Funeral Car, which was used in the Procession last Saturday [Taylor's funeral procession, 13 July], and attracted so much attention from every beholder of the solemn pageant, was prepared, at very short notice, by Messrs. Haslup and Weeden, at their Coach Factory, in this city. The design was furnished by Mr. William H. Winter, who superintended the workmanship until the time the Car was completed.
