That was Madan Lal Dhingra. He was an Indian revolutionary freedom fighter and while studying in England, he assassinated Sir William Hutt Curzon Wyllie,who was a British official, and the deed was hailed as one of the first acts of revolution in the Indian independence movement in the 20th century.
