Lord Shang Yang was accused of plotting a rebellion against the crown prince. Whether this was true is unknown. However, after attempting to flee, Shang Yang was taken captive and had his body ripped apart by horse-led chariots. His entire family was executed as well. He perished of a bloody ending.
