Technically, North Korea isn't our enemy... they just hate us, and the feeling is generally mutual. South Korea on the other hand, is our close ally. America and South Korea even conduct routine military training operations in South Korea.

Actually he was his best enemy once Batista was killed when he was captured.
Because of the Korean War. In the 1950s, there was a war between capitalist South Korea and communist North Korea. The U.S. fought in the war on the side of South Korea, so now North Korea blames the U.S. for all its problems.
North Korea claims that it could nuke the United States, but mostanalysts believethis is a lie. They believe that North Korean missiles could reach, at best, Hawaii. It's alsobelieved that they don't yet have nuclear devices small enough to mount on amissile, but they might in a few years. However, mostanalystsdo notbelieve North Korea actually wants to start a war with the U.S. or South Korea. It's thought that North Korea's real goal is to keep theircitizens united against a foreign enemy so that they won't overthrow the government.
Persia .
Back then, North and South koreas relationship were good, which means they were friends each other but they became enemy each other because North Korean actually killed one of South Korean. Actually to tell the truth, North wanted something more than South. So they were very greedy. If you heard of news that North bomb the South, the reason North doing that kind of stuff was because they wanted more money. So they each other has a bad history so you should not talk about North Korea to South korean.

Russia was the US's main enemy after WW2
South Korea trades in the free market, it's economy is booming. Its industrial development includes manufacturing consumer electronics for the US and Europe. North Korea has a poor economy. Heavy industry has failed to provide economic stability, and agriculture under its socialist dictatorial government has failed to supply enough food for its people. North Korea or Democratic People's Republic of Korea has a socialist government that follows both Songun and Juche ideologies. On the other hand, South Korea is named Republic of Korea or Korea for short and has a constitutional democratic government.
