Unilever (back when they were The Lever Bros. company) owned Mrs. Butterworth's before Aurora. The brand was created in 1961 and I believe they might have created the brand. Originally the brand had real butter in it and I think it might have also had real maple syrup. Now there's not a lot of real ingredients in it!

Mrs. Butterworth is a brand of syrup owned by Pinnacle Foods, while Aunt Jemima, which has been rebranded as Pearl Milling Company, was owned by Quaker Oats.
