Ned Kelly's used a local blacksmith at Kellys property using a bush forge.
Ned Kelly's gang blind folded and kidnapped a local blacksmith by the name of Schultz. Schultz only made two plates and was unable to get enough heat in the bush forge to complete the set. Schultz was returned under blindfold and unharmed. The Kelly gang then completed the work for the remaining fours sets on the bush forge only obtaining 700 degrees and poor quality work.

That would be Ned Kelly.
Ned Kelly's armor, while providing significant protection, had several weak points. The most notable was the visor, which limited his visibility and left him vulnerable to being shot in the face. Additionally, the armor was heavy and cumbersome, making movement difficult, and it did not cover his legs completely, leaving him exposed to shots from below. These vulnerabilities ultimately contributed to his downfall during the standoff at Glenrowan.
