Who or what is Squibnocket?

From what I can tell a squibnocket is not so much as a 'thing' but a name. Used as street and/or address, it's one not easily forgotten. I think there is also a music band of that name and possibly a type of photographic style. If there are other meanings I have no idea what they would be.
