There have been women who have been dressed up as men to be pharaoh, but, there never has been a pharaoh recognised as a women, if you know what I mean. Although women like Queen Nefertiti was as close to a pharaoh as any other women has ever been. The reason why is that Akhenaten her husband had a great love for her and let her do things pharaoh's would usually do eg. visit the temple to worship Aten without Akhenaten there. you guys should reaserch Queen Nefertiti, she's awesome
