Pete Duel has performed as 'Hannibal' and Ben Murphy as 'Kid Curry'.
Yes, Hannibal Hayes and Kid Curry were both historical figures associated with the American Old West. Hannibal Hayes was a lesser-known outlaw, while Kid Curry, whose real name was Harvey Logan, was a notorious member of the Wild Bunch gang led by Butch Cassidy. Kid Curry gained notoriety for his involvement in various robberies and gunfights during the late 19th century. Their paths may have crossed in the context of the outlaw culture of the time, but they are not as widely recognized as some of their contemporaries.

A reported conversation between Hannibal and Scipio Africanus, discussing the best general of all times: Hannibal: The best three were Alexander, Pyrrhus, Hannibal, in that order. Scipio: (not mentioned but expecting to be ahead of Hannibal): And what if I hadn't defeated you? Hannibal: Then Hannibal would have been first.

Ben Murphy played Kid Curry/Thaddeus Jones. Pete Duel played Hannibal Heyes/Joshua Smith for season 1 and part of season 2 before he killed himself. Then Roger Davis took over the role of Hannibal Heyes for the rest of season 2 and season 3.
They where the two cowboys in alias smith and jones. Bank robbers who never killed aybody as far as i can remember Kid Curry (real name Harvey Logan) is the name of an actual outlaw (part of Butch Cassidy's Wild Bunch gang) who killed several lawmen and a couple of civilians. Cassidy used to represent the gang as not killing anyone, but it was totally untrue. There is some speculation about a Private Hannibal Hays (no 'e'), 1842-1916, being the inspiration for the HH in the series, but apart from the spelling difference, he is distinctly older and certainly not notorious in the same way as Curry.
It would help to have a little more information, but the first one I can think of is... Alias Smith and Jones starring Ben Murphy and Pete Duel as Hannibal Heyes and Kid Curry.
The stars of Alias Smith and Jones were Pete Duel, Ben Murphy, and Roger Davis. Pete Duel played Hannibal Hayes, Ben Murphy played Jedediah "Kid" Curry, and Roger Davis starred as Stephen Foster Moody.

Pete Duel actually played Joshua Smith/Hannibal Heyes. He shot himself in the head on Dec. 31, 1971. Roger Davis took over the role. Ben Murphy played Thaddeus Jones/Kid Curry for the entire run of the series.
