ha ha stiupid people
Prasutagus did not actually leave his possessions to the Romans. He had incurred heavy debts with the Romans to finance his lavish lifestyle. When he died the creditors called in the debts.
The Iceni and the Romans had their big difference of opinion after the death of Prasutagus, Boudicca's husband, who was king of the Icenii. Now, Prasutagus, although an ally of Rome and living under Roman law, made his wife and daughters heirs to half of his kingdom, with the other half going to Rome, thus trying to provide for his wife and daughters. However, under Roman law, a woman could not inherit that much territory/wealth, from a man. (women could inherit only a limited amount from a male, under Roman law) At any rate when Boudicca demanded that the Romans leave her territory, things got nasty. She was flogged and her daughters were raped. Boudicca was out for revenge for her humiliation and the war started.
