There is no record of each individual bomb dropped by the Axis powers or the Allied powers. The military keeps records of how many tons of bombs they dropped. Both sides dropped millions of pounds during World War 2.
it's estimated that about 3.25 Million people fought in the Battle of Berlin. 2.5 Million were allied (2.3 Million Soviet and 200,000 Polish) soldiers, whiles 766,750 Germans fought to defend Berlin during World War 2.
This was a result of the Berlin Blockade during the Cold War. The Germans were surrounding the city of Berlin due to the fact that that city was Democratic and all around it was Communist. The Western Allies then send aircraft and dropped food and supplies in the city of Berlin because of the fact that they were surrounded and were not able to get goods. Also because Germany was not allowing them to get goods because they were trying to turn everybody Communist.

While not quite cut in half, Berlin was split into "separate divisional areas" by the allies after WWII, each area occupied by it's own allied forces. Subsequently, the USSR built "The Wall", separating it's occupied territory from the western allied forces, thus "cutting" Berlin into two areas, West Berlin and East Berlin (behind the Wall), of "Free Berlin" and "Communist Berlin", as they were known in the West for decades. The Wall was taken down during the time of Kruschev and the American actor/politician, Ronald Reagan.
