Guru Nanak Dev Ji was the first Guru of Sikhism. At the age of 30, he went missing for 3 days after going for his daily bath at a near by stream, he reappeared after 3 days and answered the same to every question posed to him that " There is no Hindu, There is No Muslim. So whose path shall I follow, I shall follow God's path" Since then he began preaching his teachings and appointed his successor which gradually formed 10 human Gurus of Sikhs with Guru Granth Sahib becoming the 11th and eternal, perpetual Guru of Sikhs.
