Contrary to popular belief, the Mayflower did not land at Plymouth Rock; it landed in what is now Virginia, possibly at Cape Cod. The Puritans (pilgrims) only established a colony at Plymouth.
Furiture was not essential to survival. Back then only wealthy people had couches and such. The pilgrims did not bring furniture.
The Mayflower was the only ship that set sail with the Pilgrims in 1620. It carried 102 passengers and a crew of about 30. Although there were plans for a second ship, known as the Speedwell, it was deemed unseaworthy and did not make the journey. Thus, the Mayflower made the voyage alone.
No-one drowned or died otherwise during the transatlantic voyage. Only when the crew and passengers had to stay on board when the Mayflower harboured in Cape Cod during the winter in which they arrived, half of them died. Not from falling overboard, but from diseases.
the mayflower was a cargo ship it ws only made to carry wine .
Bradford's group had to switch to a different ship because their original vessel, the Speedwell, was deemed unseaworthy after experiencing leaks during its initial voyage. After multiple attempts to repair it, the group ultimately decided to abandon the Speedwell and board the Mayflower, which was more suitable for the journey. The Mayflower, though smaller and less equipped than desired, was the only ship available for their transatlantic voyage to the New World. This switch was crucial for the Pilgrims to pursue their goal of establishing a new settlement in America.

On the Mayflower were 102 people, but only 61 were Puritan's. They came from one village in Yorkshire called Scrooby.
Titanic's only voyage was in the year 1912.
The Mayflower Compact (November 11, 1620) established the framework used to govern the Plymouth Colony. It was signed by the Pilgrims, only some of whom were actual separatist Congregationalists, thereby differing from the Puritans who founded the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1628.
To introduce the Mayflower, one might begin by highlighting its historical significance as the ship that carried the Pilgrims from England to the New World in 1620. This journey marked a pivotal moment in American history, symbolizing the quest for religious freedom and the founding of one of the earliest European settlements in North America. The Mayflower's voyage not only led to the establishment of Plymouth Colony but also set the stage for future colonization and the complex interactions between Native Americans and European settlers.
Yes, the first and only voyage.
