"Ginger" refers to the peppery plant; redheads are supposed to have a fiery or peppery personality.
Redheads.
Well, this might not be the answer you where looking for, but most Irish people are redheads or "gingers". I am a ginger, and i wear my hair however i want to. Actually 10% of Irish people have red-hair so it is not unusual but 90% have other hair colours. Irish girls wear their hair in all kinds of ways as this is more a question of individual taste than nationality.
A bad rep??? They don't.. A lot of redheads are attractive... I'm one of them. I get just as much, if not more, guy attention as any blonde or brunette. All that stereotype just stems from the old saying that redheads are hot-tempered. I think what this question is all about is the old saying, 'redheads have hot tempers.' The answer is yes/no. Brunettes, blonds, black haired people and redheads can all have bad tempers. I'm Scottish/Irish and if cornered I can have one bad temper. However, I've learned to curb my anger more and am pretty laid-back, but if someone keeps hounding me the redhead couldn't keep up with me (medium brown hair with blond streaks.)
yes, because they beleived they were worshippers or patron to Set, god of chaos, evil, and destruction
I'm redheaded and wear green on St. Patrick's Day to show my Irish pride.
Yes
According to Wikipedia, 13% of the Scottish population are redheads while 10% of the Irish are redheads.
Because gingers suck
"Ginger" is a nickname for a redheaded person, so by definition they have red hair. Redheads tend to have pale skin which makes them prone to freckles.
There is no scientific evidence to suggest that gingers will go extinct in the future. The gene that causes red hair is recessive, meaning it can be passed down through generations even if both parents do not have red hair. As long as individuals with the gene continue to reproduce, redheads will not disappear.
Some people are attracted to redheads, or gingers, due to their unique appearance, which can stand out in a crowd. Red hair is a genetic trait that can be considered striking or alluring to individuals who appreciate diversity in physical characteristics. Ultimately, attraction is subjective and varies from person to person.
No, gingers did not exist back then. They were called demons
no potatoes and gingers are not fruit.
The plural of ginger is gingers. As in "these cats are gingers".
Wikipedia has an article called 'list of redheads' that shows an accurate list of famous redheads and provides information and pictures of them. The list includes people like Karen Gillan and Prince Harry.
Redheads have a higher concentration of a pigment called pheomelanin in their skin, which provides less protection against UV radiation compared to the darker pigment eumelanin. This makes them more prone to sunburns and skin damage when exposed to sunlight. It's important for redheads to take extra precautions, such as wearing sunscreen and protective clothing, to prevent sunburns.
why? umm cause your parents have that color hair in there genes. so now you have it
