Well, honey, those Egyptians crossed their arms in their tombs because it symbolized the deceased person's journey from the earthly realm to the afterlife. It was like saying, "I'm ready to peace out and move on to the next chapter, so let's get this show on the road." So, basically, they were just striking a pose for their eternal Instagram pic.
