Money. Its always the reason. I loved H57 when I was a kid, when they added the sugar and toned down the vinegar and curry taste I gave it up. Not sure how they benefited financially by changing the new recipe, but you can bet it was for money. It was Either to gain more customers with taste for sugar (addicts) who lived in the US or to allow the company to create other competing brands, split the market and multiply their customers. Maybe some ingredient was expensive. Whatever, money is the answer. Money is always the answer.
